The weather’s great, and it’s time to ride your bike to work!
Come to Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the William’s Green, 3rd and Boston.
This year’s event will also celebrate Tulsa’s recent designation as a Bike Friendly Community. The award from the League of American Bicyclists made Tulsa the first community in Oklahoma to be recognized in this way.
The designation is based on Tulsa’s commitment to engineering, education, encouragement, enforcement and evaluation of bicycle facilities in the city. The League of American Bicyclists specifically lauded Tulsa’s three bicycle-sharing programs.
