2009 Wildflower Grants
You can color Oklahoma highways near you with a Color Oklahoma matching grant of up to $500. Grants are available to communities, organizations, Native American tribes and individuals. Color Oklahoma will help select the wildflowers suitable for your area, determine the cost of seeds and arrange for planting.
Information and an application form are available at http://www.coloroklahoma.org/. Funding is from donors and the popular Color Oklahoma state wildflower license plate. You can purchase one and know that $20 of your purchase will add wildflowers along state highways.
