This summer, a total of 220 young people participated in iJobs, a six-week work experience and received valuable work experience to help them prepare for the working environment.
Instant Jobs for Tulsa area youth is part of Workforce Oklahoma's youth development program, which received more than $1 million in government funding from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act.
We are extremely fortunate to have such a high-quality program here that not only serves as a model for our state, but provides our young people with the necessary skills they need to succeed in the workplace.
