Apparently, there has been another break in. This time it was at 27th and Urbana at 1 p.m. the other day.Witnesses said that apparently the burglar had pried open the front door with a tool instead of the usual kicking-in-the-door technique.
Allegedly, the burglar scouted the house around 10 a.m. and returned to break in at 1 p.m.
Witnesses said the thief had a few young boys keeping look out. They took the TV, trashed the house and stole hidden cash.
Please keep your eyes open and alert for any odd behavior. If you see anything out the ordinary, alert the authorities.

There have been reports of a green car with a mom and three boys scoping out houses in the neighborhood.
My next door neighbor had an attempted break-in last Tuesday. Two men scratching on the window screens and jingling the door bell.
We are all on alert and need to not be driven into our homes because of fear.
I live on 27th & Quebec Ave and have been keeping my eyes open for any odd cars or suspicious activities.
