Weather Alert

A letter from PSO:

PSO is preparing for a major winter storm and the possibility of widespread power outages across the majority of our service area.
We encourage customers who may experience a power outage, or it they see downed power lines, to report it to PSO by calling our statewide toll-free outage reporting number: 1-888-218-3919.
Also, we remind customers to avoid any downed power lines or anything a downed line may be touching. Always assume a downed line is "live" and call us or 911 immediately.
Finally, if power goes out, our crews are on the ground working to restore power, often in hazardous conditions. The lines and equipment that they are working with are very dangerous. They work as quickly and safely as possible to get the power back on for all of our customers.
If you see a crew working in your neighborhood, we ask that you refrain from interrupting them and keep a safe distance between yourselves and their equipment.
Thanks for working with us for your safety and the safety of our crews.
Weather now looks like rain and sleet will turn to freezing rain at sunset Thursday with accumulation of half to three quarter of an inch accumulation.
Winds later expected in the 30 mph range.
We are calling crews from outside to assist with storm recovery at this time.
We will begin moving them this way today.

As we have significant information, we'll pass it on.
