MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THESE UPCOMING MMNA EVENTS

Thursday, March 10th - 6:30 pm
Alert Neighbors / MMNA Business Meeting
Memorial Baptist Church, 2800 S Yale, in the Fellowship Hall. Use the north door. Bart Dean, from the Crime Prevention Network will provide valuable information and MMNA officers will talk about the neighborhood association activities.

Saturday, June 4th
Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale
MMNA will place a classified ad for a Saturday sale. Banners will be placed at the four corners of the neighborhood to alert buyers before the sale.

July 12 - 19th
Dumpster Days - located at or near 22nd Place & Richmond
MMNA has arranged for two dumpsters to be delivered on Tuesday, July 12th. The dumpsters will be emptied and reset on Friday, July 15th and picked up on Tuesday, July 19th. Please do not overfill the dumpsters, if they are full come back after it has been emptied and reset on Friday the 15th.

Please follow these dumpster rules so the city will allow us to have a dumpster yearly:

  • The dumpsters are for MM residents only, not your in-laws, or commercial business (no using the dumpster to clean out rental property, please)
  • Do not leave your stuff by the dumpster or on neighbors' lawns. The city will not pick it up, and those neighbors who generously hosted the dumpsters will be stuck with it.
  • NO: whole trees or huge limbs or grass clippings, car parts, tires, major appliances, refrigerators, air conditioners, or other Freon-bearing appliances, toxic materials, buildings, parts of buildings, sheds or roofing materials.
  • Call the City for Bulky Waste Pickup 918-596-9777 for those items that cannot go in the dumpster or be picked up by residential waste service. There is a small fee for this service.
  • Do not overfill the dumpsters. Come back after they have been emptied.
