Tulsa PAC Offers Riveting Productions

Two thought-provoking plays and one of Verdi's most beloved operas await audiences at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

Find out what happens when teen video-gamers lose touch with reality when Odeum Theatre Company, the PAC's newest theatre group, stages the play "Neighborhood 3: Requisition for Doom," Feb. 25 - 28. Odeum Theatre is offering special ticket price for friends of the PAC. Visit www.tulsapac.com, click on the event and enter the word GAMES in the coupon code box to receive a discount. This offer is good for online purchases only.

Theatre North's "A Song for Coretta," Feb. 26 - 28, concerns five women who are at the end of a long line of mourners filing past the body of Coretta Scott King. The show is an image-soaked testament to the late civil rights icon as seen through the eyes of a handful of fictional characters. The production stars five well-known local actresses.

A tragedy of betrayal, abduction and vengeance, Verdi's "Rigoletto," centers on a hunchbacked court jester who plots revenge when his employer, the womanizing Duke of Mantua, seduces his daughter. Tulsa Opera presents "Rigoleto," Feb. 27 and Mar. 5 and Mar. 7.
