MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THESE UPCOMING EVENTS

NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALE –SATURDAY JUNE 13TH
Because of declining donations, MMNA will not place a classified ad in the newspaper, so tell your friends about the sale. MMNA will post banners at the four corners the neighborhood to advice neighbors and visitors of the event.
DUMPSTER DAYS JULY 3-5 & 6-8 (located at or near 22nd Place & Richmond)
Two dumpsters will be delivered on Friday, July 3rd and will be emptied and re-set on the Monday the 6th.  If the dumpsters are full over the weekend, bring your items back on the 6th when the dumpster will be emptied. The City will pick the dumpster on the 8th.  Please follow dumpster rules below so the City will allow us to continue to have a dumpster yearly.
·        The dumpsters are only for MM residents, not your in-laws, or commercial business (no using the dumpster to clean out rental property, please).
·        Do not leave your stuff by the dumpster or on neighbors’ lawns. The City will not pick it up, and those neighbors who generously hosted the dumpsters will be stuck with it.
·        NO:  whole trees or huge limbs or grass clippings, car parts, tires, major appliances refrigerators, air conditions or other Freon- bearing appliances, toxic materials, buildings, parts  of buildings, sheds or roofing materials.
·        Call the City for Bulky Waste Pickup 918-596-9777 for those items that cannot go in the dumpster or be picked up by residential waste service.

BEAUTIFUL SPRING FLOWERS AT THE MM ENTRY GATES AT 21 & PITTSBURG  & VANDALIA

NEW EXHIBIT HIGHLIGHTS TULSA IN THE 50’S INCLUDING MM

Nifty Fifties” is a new exhibit at the Tulsa Historical Society (2445 S. Peoria, tulsahistory.org) that gives a glimpse of life in Tulsa during time our neighborhood was built. The two neon M’s were salvaged from the old MM shopping center building sign and were donated by the MMNA Board of Directors for the exhibit.
